The Fuhrer’s Final Trumpet – Stephen Adams
The war is winding down, and the Soviets are knocking at the Germans’ door. The female Captain America type, Victory Rose, is sent in on a mission to stop a strange weapon, and to try and prevent German weapon technology from falling into Soviet hands.
She manages to get caught and hung (which is where the superhuman abilities help), and things are bleak as she thinks she is no longer needed.
Rescue and mission work leaves her exhausted by the end of it.
