Some of this is ok, but the stupid subplot that has a fluffy relationship between Liz and hellboy is really, really, annoying, and pointless.
The Elf princess and Abe makes some sort of sense, but the other is ludicrous, and makes this way too cheesy, overall.
Giant indestructible robots and killer pixie things, sure, but Hellboy isn’t supposed to be a soap.
